Practice Schedule

I am planning on a practice May 14th for the National Team in Central AR.  I know this is next week, but please try to free your schedules for a practice from 5-8pm near Little Rock.  You can email me or call me with any questions, but finals for most girls will take place the week of May 19th and our girls need to have that time to study if at all possible.

**This first practice is extremely important for many reasons and I hope all of the girls will make it.****

Summer practice, camp, and event schedule thus far:

National Team:: May 14th practice 5-8pm U of Little Rock, AR fieldhouse.

National Team:: June 7th practice 1-4pm UCA in Conway, AR.

National Team:: June 16 to 18 CBU in Memphis, TN beginning June 16th at 1pm and ending on June 18th at 1pm...we will have our first camp and begin getting to know each other in preporation for June 21st. 

National Team:: June 21st One day event for those who are not going to JO Champions in Dallas--invitation only tourney at U of Missouri Saint Louis.  This is a rare and special opportunity for our team to compete against a few teams that are heading to JO nationals from the Gateway region and Heart of America region.

National Team:: July 10th to 12th Columbia, MO        U of Missouri (Mizzou) I spoke with Mizzou volleyball today and we can expect 6 matches a day with repooling everyday.  By the end of camp we should have our system, chemistry, and team play ready for the HP National Championships at the end of July.  Our girls will also get to meet some of the Mizzou coaches and players.  Bring your "A game" ladies because this will be a lot of fun!!!

National Team::July 16th  We may have a regional small group practice.  The girls from AR would meet in AR and workout against the alternate team players from AR.  **Jonesboro girls can choose which site is the closest drive.**Today's practice time will be determined later to allow our girls time to workout with  their high school teams.

National Team:: July 17th Memphis regional players to meet and play with alternate team. Today's practice time will be determined later to allow our girls time to workout with  their high school teams.

National Team:: July 22nd Tucson, AZ Check in, practice, and opening ceremonies banquet at the HP Champsionships.  Play begins July 23rd.  Our practice time has not been determined by USAV yet.  I will let all of you know as soon as I do.  At this point I am advising parents to book early flights into Tucson that will arrive by 1-2pm if possible.

Alternate team

Alternate Team:: June 7th practice 4-6:30pm UCA in Conway, AR.

Alternate Team:: July 16 and/or 17th Regional practice with the national team at a site and time to be determined later.  AR girls to workout in central AR and Memphis girls to workout in Memphis.  I have emailed with a few of you and this practice will be flexible and work around camps that your daughter is attending in town.

Any and all events for the Alternate team will conclude by July 18th. 

***Facts***

49 of the tryout participants played on the elite or highest level of play their club offered in their age division or above.

45% of participants are from the Memphis area
